The ENVISION project (www.envisionproject.eu) is aimed at empowering businesses by providing models for innovation. The result is the Business MakeOver platform (http://businessmakeover.eu) – a platform that offers practical tools and guidelines for business model innovation that’s specific to different types of business scenarios.

Whether you want to grow your business, test your business, make your business more profitable or start a brand new enterprise, you’ll have the opportunity to discuss your own ideas and those of your peers through lively discussions and use of the practical tools offered by the Business MakeOver platform.

In digital era, Business Model Innovation is becoming one of key activity that have to be perpetually performed by each enterprise, to remain competitive in rapidly changing business and technology environment. The workshop will introduce audience to techniques and tools for Business Model Innovation along with case studies from practice.

About Project

Workshops are being organized by the Faculty of Organizational Sciences, University of Maribor (http://www.fov.si/en), a core partner in the ENVISION project.

Andreja Pucihar

Andreja Pucihar is an Associate Professor at the Faculty of Organizational Sciences, University of Maribor, Slovenia. Her recent research is mainly focused to IS innovation, in particular in business models, e-business, social media, innovation and digital transformation. Since 2009 she is a conference chair of annual international Bled eConference. She is an assistant editor of »Electronic Markets – The International Journal on Networked Business« journal and a member of the board of the following journals: »Journal of Theoretical and Applied Electronic Commerce Research«, »International Journal of Information Systems & Social Change« and »International Journal of Organisation Design«.

Gregor Lenart

Gregor Lenart is a senior lecturer and researcher at the Faculty of Organizational Science University of Maribor, Slovenia. His basic research fields are Business Information Systems, e-Business and Information Technology management. His recent research also includes Business Model Innovation. His research and work experience includes work in several EU IST research projects: mGBL, VE-Forum, SEAMLESS, Centralab and Envision.
