1. What is the BBA conference?

The BBA (Balkan Business Analysis) conference is an annual international conference and the largest IIBA (International Institute of Business Analysis) event in the Balkan region. This year's 8th annual conference will be held on September 12th and 13th. Every 4 years, the conference takes place in Slovenia. The conference returns to Slovenia where it was last held in 2018 when we hosted over 250 attendees from over 20 countries.

The conference will be available live as well as online (a hybrid event) which will enable us to host a larger number of attendees.

IIBA (https://www.iiba.org/) is an international business analysis institute that develops methodologies for identifying business needs and demands which helps companies reach strategic goals trough: innovative business and digital strategies, changes of the business model, data insights and advanced data solutions, process optimization and designing digital solutions. We do everything in keeping with our motto: Helping Business do BUSINESS BETTER.

2. Meaning of the main theme of the conference: »Homo Analyticus – All you need is data!?«

What drives the wild dance of demanding customers and business events in the digital economy. Data! It has become the most important “currency” in the world, a source of wealth for everyone who can use it and missed opportunities for everyone who is not aware of the importance of using it. Is data really all we need? What is supposed to be the goal of using it? Do we see data as helpful in satisfying the needs of our customers and proving an even better customer experience or do we mostly want to use it for our own benefit?  Because with data, comes power - power to understand others and ensure timely and targeted decisions. That kind of power is justified if it is used mostly for the benefit of the person – buyer, manager, employee or citizen. Despite the rise of artificial intelligence, humans still decide on the goal, context, meaning and purpose of data usage. So even this special dance requires two participants: Homo Analyticus: All you need is data!?

3. Cooperation goals

Working together, we will:

  • Execute the international conference with affordable participation fees to attract as many attendees as possible.
  • Ensure that the attendees of the conference as well as the subsequent users of the content from the conference can access new, sophisticated knowledge.
  • Enable the upgrade of the professional part of the conference (knowledge) with two more segments that were extremely well received by the attendees of the former conference: gaining new skills through experience and community
  • Encourage the development of BA approaches to benefit Slovenian companies.

4. Why partner with us?

We enter this partnership with the intent of realizing benefits for your organization in the following ways:

  • Boosting the international brand recognition of your organization and your offer.
  • Ensuring additional business opportunities based on networking and e-presentation in the Balkans and other EU countries.
  • Providing partner level (free) application fees for the conference where you can get familiar with the newest trends, guidelines and best practice examples for business data use.
  • Providing additional benefits such as (free) training and/or identification of opportunities of using IIBA business analysis methods to evaluate business challenges in your organization.

Along with the potential from the first two points, the third and fourth point secure a direct financial benefit by reimbursing the participation fee and the execution of training/consulting which adds up to approx. half of your financial investment. This represents an additional piece of mind for your investment and its ROI.

5. Forms of cooperation

We will present the possible forms of partnership cooperation in the following text. Instead of standard sponsorship packages, we would like to offer special packages whose names already highlight the support that your organization provides to the important elements of the event which otherwise couldn’t be executed in such a large scope.

Knowledge enabler
Your support will enable us to prepare an exceptional international professional conference with top-notch, globally recognizable presenters. Your knowledge enabler role will provide you with an opportunity to present your organization as an advanced supporter of knowledge for the future. You will be able to address the attendees in person and online before the lectures, and your logo will be prominently placed on all presentation materials that the participants will receive after the conference or can be viewed in the presentation archives since the conference will be recorded. Your support will also grant you unlimited access to any such content.
Experience enabler
As an experience enabler you will support our efforts to provide this year’s attendees with an unforgettable conference experience. We focused on the experience, since the attendees will experience the conference on multiple location that will combine conventional presentations and workshops in the congressional center with storytelling around a campfire in the Soča Fun Park as well as team building activities in the adrenalin park. Your support will therefore be highlighted during events outside of the congressional center.
IIBA community enabler
As a community enabler you will greatly contribute to developing the IIBA community within the region as well as transferring IIBA business analysis skills to Slovenian companies.

6. Invitation

Our first conference left a big impression on our attendees, sponsors and the headquarters of our organization (IIBA Hq). We are sure that we will a great impression this time as well. We just need to be able to execute all the planned conference activities which we can only achieve with your help and support.

Your investment will enable us to carefully and systematically achieve our stated goals while enabling you to achieve your own goals.

We are looking forward to cooperating with you!
