The international Balkan BA Conference is the annual professional IIBA forum for business analytical approaches in the wider Balkan region.
The conference is run under the auspices of the International Institute of Business Analysis (IIBA) and IIBA Europe and is jointly organized by the four largest IIBA branches of the Balkan region: IIBA Slovenia, IIBA Serbia, IIBA Bulgaria and IIBA Romania, in cooperation with IIBA Italy and other IIBA affiliates.
IIBA business analytical approaches have been introduced worldwide by successful and well respected corporations including IKEA, Visa, Walmart, T-Mobile, Deutsche Bank, Rolls-Royce, Boeing, General Motors, British Gas, Credit Suisse AG, Erste Group Bank AG, Allianz, Johnson Controls and many others.
IIBA business analytical approaches involve identifying business needs and requirements to help organizations achieve strategic goals using business analysis, business model changes, organizational capacity development, process optimization, portfolio / opportunity / project management and digital transformation.
Participation in what has now become an annual tradition continues to grow each year. Over 250 participants from the Balkans, Eastern and Central Europe, Britain and other countries are expected to attend this year’s already 4th Balkan Business Analysis Conference. Many members from IIBA subsidiaries located throughout Europe are anticipated and we eagerly await their contributions and best practice exchange.
IIBA business analytical approaches are utilized not only by IIBA business analysts but also by other key business professionals in the fields of business development, process ownership, project management, IT management and other sectors at different levels of many diverse types of business enterprises. Conference TO-GO promises to be something different and unique. As well as benefitting from high quality professional lectures and workshops, participants will get to experience an innovative concept that places emphasis on the experience of the conference itself. By combining lectures and workshops with riding on a museum train along one of the country’s most scenic routes, participants will take part in a single conference at multiple locations along the way. The conference will begin with an introductory lecture and continue on a full-day trip across Slovenia with stops at Most na Soči (workshop location), Lake Bled, Ljubljana, Pivka Cave and Črna Jama – the sister cave of Postojna Cave, Slovenia’s most visited tourist attraction and another workshop location. Conference TO GO will conclude with a lecture back at the starting point.
